How Does a Vietnam-Bound OEM Order Move from Sample to Bulk Production?

Agree on the approved sample, specification, inspection criteria and production location.

Vietnam bulk order

Manufacture and inspect the approved bulk order in Vietnam, then confirm packaging and shipment documents.

Vietnam currently supports mainly U.S.-bound programs, while the China factory serves many other markets. What Should U.S. Buyers Verify Before Approving a Vietnam Order?

Confirm the agreed production location and the relevant manufacturing and shipping parties in the quotation and purchase-order documents.

Model-specific compliance

Request UL or ETL documentation only for the exact model and configuration where available. Confirm the file number, certificate holder and marking requirements rather than assuming every LED strip is covered. Review our Certificates approach.

Origin and import documents

Xmart can coordinate Vietnam Certificate of Origin documentation for eligible Vietnam-produced shipments. Availability must be confirmed against the actual production and transaction documents. U.S. import classification, origin treatment and applicable duties should be checked by the buyer or customs broker; Vietnam production does not guarantee a particular tariff result.

Questions U.S. OEM Buyers Ask

Are all Xmart LED strips made in Vietnam?
No. Xmart supports production in China and Vietnam. The buyer’s destination market and sourcing decision determine the agreed route for each order.
Does trial production in Shenzhen determine the origin of a later Vietnam bulk order?
A Shenzhen trial sample does not by itself determine the origin of a later shipment. The actual bulk-production process and applicable origin rules must be reviewed for that order.
Can Xmart provide a Vietnam Certificate of Origin?
Xmart can coordinate CO documentation when the Vietnam production and shipment are eligible. Confirm availability before placing the order; it is not an automatic promise for every shipment.
Do all Vietnam-produced Xmart LED strips have UL or ETL documentation?
No. Documentation is model- and configuration-specific. Provide the proposed model and target application so Xmart can confirm the available file and marking scope.
