Addressable LED Strip?

An addressable LED strip (also known as a digital, pixel, or chasing strip) is an advanced smart lighting system. The defining feature is that each LED—or small group of LEDs—integrates its own dedicated IC (Integrated Circuit) driver chip directly onto the PCB.

This specialized architecture empowers lighting controllers to communicate with and command every single pixel independently. What is the difference between SPI and DMX512?
