What is the difference between Dim to Warm and Tunable White?

Dim to Warm automatically transitions from 3000K to 1800K as you lower the brightness using a standard dimmer (2-wire system). Tunable White requires a specific controller to adjust color temperature and brightness independently (usually a 3-wire or more system).

How does Dim-to-Warm LED strip work? What power supply do I need?

Our strips utilize an IC-based solution that regulates the current to different color LEDs based on the input voltage. We strongly recommend using a PWM output dimming power supply for the smoothest, flicker-free dimming curve down to 1800K.

What is the maximum run length?

The standard maximum run length is 5 meters in series. For longer installations, strips must be connected in parallel to the power supply to prevent voltage drop and maintain consistent brightness and color temperature.

Can I cut the dim to warm strips myself?

Yes, all our strips can be cut at designated cut marks (e.g., every 62.5mm for the 2216 series or 100mm for the 2835 series) to fit exact project dimensions.
